Vasco Mendes was born in Porto in 1987. His work mixes music, rhythm, architecture, cinema and reveals a tendency for futuristic motifs. His strong connection with the music universe has led him to directed dozens of music videos for Portuguese bands, such as Capicua, Best Youth, White Haus or First Breath After Coma.

Vasco also produces/directs documentaries focused on the city and his people, but mostly on music and the artists’ creative process. His work has already allowed him to shoot in different countries like Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Malta, China, USA and UK.
