Synopsis

In the house on Rua Cecílio de Sousa in Lisbon, the story is told of a couple in love who take over the place, armed only with a suitcase full of money. They want to revolutionize their lives, make movies and build outdoors, but they soon discover that nothing is that easy. There are nightmares and guilt and a whole host of practical issues. In the end they end up sitting on a bourgeois sofa watching their own soap opera, their dreams behind them, framed and hanging on the wall.
